Rumor: Brad Pitt interested in Red Dead Redemption movie

I haven't had a chance to play Red Dead Redemption yet, but I've heard good things. Apparently so has Brad Pitt. ShowbizSpy reports that Pitt has been offered first right of refusal for the role of John Marston, the lead character in a big screen version of the popular Rockstar video game.

Brad Pitt to fight zombies in World War Z!

If you've read The Zombie Survival Guide, you may be prepared for the zombie apocalypse. But how would a real war play out? MEGAMIND teaser is a reminder why Dreamworks is no Pixar

From the director of Madagascar and two unknown writers comes Megamind, which looks like yet another rather lame computer animated comedy from Dreamworks. I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if not for the incredible films consistently flowing from Pixar. Shrek (2002) is still the best film to come from Dreamworks animation, while Pixar seems to top itself year after year. Perhaps I'm being too harsh?

The IMDB description for this is as follows:

After super-villain Megamind (Ferrell) kills his good-guy nemesis, Metro Man (Pitt), he becomes bored since there is no one left to fight. He creates a new foe, Titan (Hill), who, instead of using his powers for good, sets out to destroy the world, positioning Megamind to save the day for the first time in his life.

Megamind hits theaters Nov. 5, 2010.

Inglourious Basterds proves you can have your Nazis and kill 'em too (Review)

Quentin Tarantino may be lacking in some things, but its certainly not enthusiasm. Inglourious Basterds is a disgusting movie about killing & scalping Nazis; these types of movies don’t usually win anything but MTV awards for categories like “Best WTF Moment.” Yet, it is so funny, charming, and aggrandizing that I can’t help but love it.
