'We Need to Talk About Kevin' review - Tilda Swinton tries her hardest to raise a sociopath

I am not a parent, and after seeing We Need to Talk About Kevin, I think I may hold off on the whole children thing for a while. Lynne Ramsey’s new film is simultaneously chilling and thrilling. In the course of two hours, we watch an entire family develop and fall apart due to one child, but the experience is anchored by his mother Eva Khatchadourian, played by the talented Tilda Swinton.

'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' review - An impeccably crafted mystery

On November 9th 2004, 50-year-old Swedish journalist Stieg Larsson died after climbing seven flights of stairs to his office and subsequently suffering a heart attack. Discovered amongst his possessions were manuscripts for three completed, unpublished novels that he had written as personal projects over a number of years. The first was printed and sold in Sweden less than one year later under the title Män som hatar kvinnor (Men Who Hate Women), and again several years later in English as “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. If you haven’t been living under a rock, you’re probably aware that this novel sold spectacularly well across the globe, gave rise to two sequels, and spawned a successful trilogy of Swedish-made film adaptations.

Avatar 2-3 may be shot back-to-back, says Cameron

James Cameron is back. With the Avatar re-release set to hit theaters in a couple months, reporters are already hitting him up for another round of sequel information. Speaking on the possibility of back-to-back sequels, he says it's definitely something he's looking into since it could save a lot of money.
