Awesome video: 'Requiem for a Dream' with puppets

Requiem for a Dream is one of the most disturbing and brilliant movies I’ve ever seen. Replace all of the actors with puppets and you have a masterpiece. Fans of the movie will find a lot to love in this short little trailer. All of the key themes and bits seem to be here, from the refridgerator to the TV to “tail to tail” action. Drugs are bad, but this is awesome.

'Act of Valor' trailer and poster - A film about Navy SEALs that stars active Navy SEALs

Relativity Media is taking a risk on Act of Valor. It has already cost the studio $13 million, and another 30 million will be needed to advertise the film, yet Act of Valor has virtually no big-name actors on its docket. In fact, the film’s stars aren’t actors at all, but they’re arguably the most qualified candidates for the roles: active duty Navy SEALs themselves.

'Underworld: Awakening' poster and trailer - Kate Beckinsale returns

A new poster is out for Underworld: Awakening, and if you haven’t seen the trailer yet, you should. Kate Beckinsale is back to reprise her role as Selene, last seen in the second movie of the series since Underworld capped their trilogy hat with a prequel, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. In my opinion, Beckinsale and the character Selene were made for each other, and Beckinsale rocks this role harder than anything else I’ve seen her in (remember Van Helsing? Yeah, I don’t want to either).

Trailer mashup: 'The Muppets' meets 'The Avengers'

The Muppets has had the best set of trailers of any movie in a while, parodying romantic comedies and all sorts of movies. The actual trailer isn't too bad either. Joining in on the fun, ScreenRant has made its own mashup trailer mixing and matching video from The Muppets to the audio from The Avengers trailer. Check it out. I think the Miss Piggy as Nick Fury dubbing is especially good. ScreenRant also produced the sweet Toy Story meets Inception trailer last year.

The Muppets will hit theaters on Nov. 23.

The official Marvel Avengers trailer finally debuts

Its finally here! This morning, the official trailer for Joss Whedon's highly-anticipated Avengers was released online.

Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, because Loki is gonna tear your shit up. Too bad we have to wait until May 2012 to find out how it ends! (I'm going to hazard a guess: the good guys win, and Tony Stark sasses everyone along the way.)

Check out this Harry Potter series recap to prepare for Deathly Hallows Part 2

When you watch the Harry Potter series over the course of 10 years, it's easy to lose sight of how the movie franchise has evolved. This video recap of all seven movies (and a preview of Deathly Hallows Part 2) is a good reminder of how much the series has grown since The Sorcerer's Stone hit theaters in 2001. It's unlikely that any of the cast will ever shake their involvement, but who would want to? Even if they never get another role, they were a part of what must be the best 8-part movie series of all time.
